How It Works
Our plate and frame filter press operates on a well-established and highly effective principle. A series of filter plates and frames are pressed together, forming chambers. A filter cloth or filter paper is strategically placed between each plate and frame. Slurry is pumped into these chambers under pressure. The liquid (filtrate) passes through the filter cloth or filter paper and exits the press, while the solids are retained on the surface of the cloth, forming a filter cake.
