How It Works
The automatic chamber filter press achieves solid-liquid separation based on the principle of pressure difference. The suspension to be filtered is pumped into the filter chambers, composed of filter plates and filter cloths. The two sides of the filter plate are concave, and two adjacent filter plates are combined to form a chamber. Under the action of pressure, the liquid passes through the filter cloth and is discharged through the drainage channels on the filter plate, while the solid particles are trapped in the filter chamber and gradually accumulate to form a filter cake. As the filtration proceeds, the filter cake continues to thicken. When the preset pressure or filtration time is reached, the feed is stopped. Then the filter plate pack will be opened for filter cake unloading. Now the filtration cycle is completed. The entire workflow is automatically managed by the PLC control system, which can realize unattended continuous operation.
